The Honor 400 redefines the modern number series with a major leap in mobile imaging resolution, display brightness, and compact ergonomics. Measuring just 7.3mm in thickness and weighing 184 grams, the smartphone is powered by Qualcomm's power-efficient 4nm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 octa-core processor, incorporating an ARM Cortex-A715 prime core clocked at 2.63 GHz, three Cortex-A715 performance cores at 2.4 GHz, and four Cortex-A510 energy-saving cores at 1.8 GHz, coupled with the Adreno 720 graphics engine. Accompanied by 12GB of high-speed LPDDR5 RAM (supported by Honor RAM Turbo technology enabling virtual expansion up to +12GB) and a spacious 512GB of internal storage, it delivers smooth app switching, reliable performance, and responsive mobile gaming running on MagicOS 9 based on Android 15 with full Google Mobile Services support. Efficient heat dissipation is sustained through an all-range biomimetic vapor chamber cooling architecture.
Visuals are showcased on a more palm-friendly 6.55-inch 1.5K AMOLED display (1200 x 2664 pixels) with a 20:9 aspect ratio, 446 ppi pixel density, and an 88.8% screen-to-body ratio. The panel offers a fluid 120Hz refresh rate, 1.07 billion colors, HDR certification, and reaches an astonishing peak brightness of up to 5000 nits (1200 nits HBM) for pristine visibility even under direct mid-day sunlight. Setting a high benchmark for eye health, the screen integrates 3840Hz ultra-high frequency risk-free PWM dimming certified flicker-free by TÜV Rheinland, alongside Dynamic Dimming, Natural Light Eye Protection, and Circadian Night Display algorithms. An under-display optical fingerprint scanner provides quick and secure biometric access.
In the camera department, the phone makes a significant upgrade by introducing a massive 200 MP ultra-high-resolution primary camera (f/1.9 aperture, 1/1.4" sensor size, PDAF, hardware Optical Image Stabilization), capable of producing stunning 16000 x 12500 pixel images with exceptional cropability and lossless in-sensor zoom. It is accompanied by a 12 MP ultra-wide and macro 2-in-1 camera (f/2.2, 112˚ FOV) with autofocus down to 2.5cm for detailed macro shots. The rear camera system records cinema-grade 4K UHD video at 30fps with dual gyro-EIS and OIS stabilization. On the front, a studio-grade 50 MP selfie camera (f/2.1, 90˚ FOV) captures sharp self-portraits with natural bokeh and records 4K selfie video.
The phone houses a generous 5300 mAh high-density silicon-carbon battery that easily provides all-day endurance in a lightweight, slender body. Recharging is supported by 66W wired Honor SuperCharge, alongside 5W reverse wired power sharing via OTG. Built with certified IP65 dust and water-jet resistance, the smartphone withstands rain and accidental water exposure. Additional connectivity and multimedia features include dual stereo loudspeakers with Honor Histen spatial audio, Wi-Fi 6, updated Bluetooth 5.4 with aptX HD, an integrated infrared (IR) blaster, full-function NFC, and Dual 5G SIM standby connectivity.
