| Features | HiSilicon Kirin 810 (7nm with DaVinci NPU Architecture), 40W Huawei SuperCharge (70% in 30 min), 48MP Quad AI Camera, 16MP Super Night Selfie, 6.4" FHD+ Punch-Hole Display, 4200mAh Battery, 3.5mm Headphone Jack, Side-mounted Fingerprint Scanner, 3D Curved Aesthetic Finish, EMUI 10 |
The Huawei Nova 7i delivers an outstanding combination of computational strength, rapid battery charging, and versatile mobile imaging in the mid-range segment. Driving the smartphone is Huawei's efficient 7nm HiSilicon Kirin 810 octa-core processor, comprising two Cortex-A76 performance cores operating at 2.27 GHz and six energy-saving Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 1.88 GHz, paired with the six-core Mali-G52 graphics engine and an in-house DaVinci architecture NPU for intelligent AI workloads. Complemented by 8GB of RAM and 128GB of high-speed UFS 2.1 internal storage (expandable up to 256GB using Huawei's proprietary Nano Memory card slot), it delivers smooth multi-tasking, fast app opening speeds, and fluid gaming running on EMUI 10 based on Android 10 (utilizing Huawei Mobile Services and Huawei AppGallery).
Visuals are showcased on a sharp and immersive 6.4-inch Full HD+ LTPS IPS LCD display (1080 x 2310 pixels) with a 19.25:9 aspect ratio, 398 ppi pixel density, and an 83.75% screen-to-body ratio framed by slim borders. Protected by Corning Gorilla Glass, the panel delivers 96% NTSC wide color coverage with rich natural colors and good viewing angles. The screen incorporates Eye Comfort modes certified by TÜV Rheinland to minimize harmful blue light emissions during nighttime reading. Biometric authentication is managed swiftly via a responsive side-mounted capacitive fingerprint scanner built directly into the power button, alongside fast 2D facial recognition.
Photography is handled by a stylish matrix quad-camera setup on the rear panel. The primary camera features a 48 MP sensor (26mm equivalent, 1/2.0" size, 0.8µm pixels, f/1.8 aperture, PDAF) engineered to capture crisp 8000 x 6000 pixel daylight shots and clean low-light exposures via Huawei's handheld Super Night Mode. It is accompanied by an 8 MP ultra-wide angle camera (17mm, f/2.4) offering a 120-degree field of view for landscapes and group compositions, a 2 MP macro camera (f/2.4) for extreme 4cm close-up photography, and a 2 MP depth camera (f/2.4) for natural background bokeh in portrait mode. On the front, a 16 MP punch-hole selfie camera (f/2.0) with Super Night Selfie 2.0 optimizes facial lighting and suppresses background glare in dim lighting conditions while recording 1080p video.
The defining highlight of the Huawei Nova 7i is its exceptional charging speed: paired with a 4200 mAh lithium-polymer battery, the device supports certified 40W wired Huawei SuperCharge technology capable of charging from 0% to 70% in just 30 minutes. Finished in a gorgeous 3D curved reflective back panel available in Crush Green, Midnight Black, and Sakura Pink, the phone weighs an ergonomic 183 grams. Additional connectivity amenities include a dedicated 3.5mm headphone jack, dual-band Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac), Bluetooth 5.1 with aptX HD, USB Type-C 2.0 with OTG, and Dual 4G SIM standby connectivity.
