The Vivo iQOO Z7 is crafted to offer balanced everyday speed, reliable gaming, and pro-level stabilization in a remarkably slim form factor. Under the hood, it is driven by the 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 920 5G octa-core processor, comprising two high-clocked Cortex-A78 performance cores at 2.5 GHz and six power-efficient Cortex-A55 cores at 2.0 GHz, coupled with an ARM Mali-G68 MC4 graphics engine. Paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM (with Extended RAM 3.0 virtual expansion) and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage, the device easily manages sustained gaming, media playback, and routine multitasking.
Visuals are delivered by a vivid 6.38-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display (1080 x 2400 pixels) with a 20:9 aspect ratio, a sharp 413 ppi pixel density, and an 84.14% screen-to-body ratio. The panel supports a smooth 90Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ dynamic tone mapping, and achieves an impressive peak brightness of up to 1300 nits, ensuring legible outdoor viewing even under harsh sunlight. For control in competitive titles, it features an instantaneous touch sampling rate of up to 1200Hz and an optical in-display fingerprint sensor.
In the camera department, the iQOO Z7 features a dual rear camera system highlighted by a 64 MP Samsung ISOCELL GW3 primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, Phase Detection Autofocus (PDAF), and hardware Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) to ensure blur-free night photos and shake-free video footage. The primary camera is assisted by a 2 MP depth sensor for portrait depth separation, while a 16 MP wide front camera takes crisp selfies. The rear camera can record up to 4K video at 30fps with gyro-EIS stabilization.
Powering the smartphone is a 4500 mAh lithium-ion battery accompanied by Vivo's 44W FlashCharge adapter, capable of charging the device from 1% to 50% in roughly 25 minutes. Designed with ergonomics in mind, the body measures just 7.8mm in thickness and weighs 173 grams, complete with IP54 splash and dust resistance. Additional highlights include a dedicated 3.5mm headphone jack with Hi-Res Audio certification, Wi-Fi 6 connectivity, and Android 13 with Funtouch OS 13.
