The Honor X9a sets a new benchmark in mid-range smartphone design by fusing exceptional structural toughness with a premium curved display and extended battery endurance. Under the hood, the device is powered by Qualcomm's efficient 6nm Snapdragon 695 5G octa-core processor, incorporating two Kryo 660 Gold performance cores running at 2.2 GHz and six Kryo 660 Silver efficiency cores at 1.7 GHz, paired with an Adreno 619 GPU. Supported by 8GB of RAM (with Honor RAM Turbo technology adding 5GB of virtual memory) and up to 256GB of internal storage, it delivers smooth daily multitasking, solid social media navigation, and power-efficient 5G connectivity running on Magic UI 6.1 (upgradable to MagicOS 7) based on Android with full Google Mobile Services support.
Visuals are showcased on a stunning 6.67-inch Full HD+ Curved AMOLED display (1080 x 2400 pixels) with a 20:9 aspect ratio, 395 ppi pixel density, and an expansive 89.94% screen-to-body ratio. The display delivers an ultra-smooth 120Hz refresh rate, 300Hz touch sampling rate, 1.07 billion colors, and up to 800 nits of high brightness. Protected by 0.65mm deeply reinforced curved glass engineered to resist everyday drops, the panel also incorporates 1920Hz high-frequency PWM dimming and TUV Rheinland low blue light certifications to protect eyesight. Biometric security is integrated via a fast on-screen optical fingerprint scanner.
For photography and videography, the smartphone features an AI triple rear camera configuration set within the iconic Dynamic Matrix Star Ring, headlined by a 64 MP primary sensor (f/1.8 aperture, PDAF). It is supported by a 5 MP ultra-wide angle camera (f/2.2) and a 2 MP macro lens (f/2.4) for close-ups. The camera system supports Super Night Mode, Portrait Bokeh, Multi-Video recording, and captures 1080p Full HD video at 30fps. On the front, a centrally aligned 16 MP punch-hole camera (f/2.5) handles selfies and video calls.
Remarkably, the Honor X9a packs a large 5100 mAh lithium-polymer battery into an ultra-slim 7.9mm profile that weighs only 175 grams, offering up to two full days of typical usage. Recharging is handled via 40W wired Honor SuperCharge, reaching 50% capacity in around 30 minutes. Additional connectivity and convenience features include full-function NFC, an infrared (IR) blaster, dual-band Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1 with aptX HD, and Dual 5G SIM standby connectivity.
