| Features | Record 9.2mm Ultra-Thin Folded Profile, Silicon-Carbon 5150mAh Battery, IPX8 Waterproofing, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 4nm, 50W Wireless SuperCharge, Dual Stylus Support |
The Honor Magic V3 sets a monumental milestone in foldable smartphone engineering, redefining modern form factors by delivering an ultra-thin 9.2mm folded and 4.35mm unfolded profile without compromising battery endurance or computational muscle. Driving the device is Qualcomm's flagship 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 octa-core processor, comprising an ARM Cortex-X4 prime core clocked at 3.3 GHz, five Cortex-A720 performance cores up to 3.2 GHz, and two Cortex-A520 efficiency cores at 2.3 GHz, paired with the Adreno 750 graphics engine. Reinforced by 12GB of high-speed LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of fast UFS 4.0 internal storage, it delivers desktop-grade multitasking, split-screen productivity, and responsive 3D gaming on MagicOS 8.0.1 based on Android 14 with full Google Mobile Services support. Heat is dissipated through an ultra-thin titanium vapor chamber cooling architecture.
Visuals are showcased on dual class-leading screens: a huge 7.92-inch Foldable LTPO OLED main display (2156 x 2344 pixels) with an 88.6% screen-to-body ratio, and an ergonomic 6.43-inch LTPO OLED external cover screen (1060 x 2376 pixels) protected by Anti-scratch NanoCrystal Shield. Both panels support adaptive 1Hz to 120Hz LTPO refresh rates, 1.07 billion colors, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, stylus pen input on both displays, and up to 2500 nits peak brightness. To ensure supreme visual comfort, the screens feature industry-leading 4320Hz PWM dimming and circadian night display technology. Biometrics are handled swiftly by a side-mounted capacitive fingerprint sensor integrated directly into the power key.
The camera department is highlighted by a versatile triple rear camera system developed with Studio Harcourt portrait science: a 50 MP primary wide camera (f/1.6 aperture, 1/1.56" sensor size, PDAF, and hardware Optical Image Stabilization), a 50 MP periscope telephoto lens (f/3.0, OIS) offering 3.5x optical zoom, 10x hybrid zoom, and up to 100x digital zoom, and a 40 MP ultra-wide angle camera (f/2.2, 112˚ FOV) with macro autofocus. The camera system features Millisecond Falcon Capture and records 10-bit 4K UHD video at 60fps with gyro-EIS and HDR10+. For video conferences and selfies, both the inner and outer screens house dedicated 20 MP punch-hole cameras (f/2.2) with 4K recording capability.
A core technological breakthrough is its massive 5150 mAh 4th-generation silicon-carbon battery, which packs unprecedented energy density into an ultra-slim dual-cell arrangement. It supports 66W wired Honor SuperCharge, 50W wireless SuperCharge, and 5W reverse charging. Engineered with an aerospace-grade Luban Titanium hinge and high-strength special composite fiber back, the device carries an IPX8 water resistance rating certified up to 2.5 meters. Additional connectivity amenities include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.3, dual stereo speakers with DTS:X Ultra sound, an integrated infrared (IR) blaster, full-function NFC, high-speed USB Type-C 3.1 with DisplayPort 1.2 output, and Dual 5G SIM standby connectivity.
