The Honor 90 delivers visionary mobile imaging, industry-first eye protection technology, and refined aesthetic luxury in a featherweight profile. Driving the device is the 4nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 Accelerated Edition octa-core processor, featuring a high-performance ARM Cortex-A710 prime core running at 2.5 GHz, three Cortex-A710 performance cores at 2.36 GHz, and four Cortex-A510 efficiency cores at 1.8 GHz, coupled with the Adreno 644 GPU. Coupled with 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM (supported by Honor RAM Turbo virtual memory) and 512GB of high-speed UFS 3.1 internal flash storage, it provides swift multitasking, fluid social navigation, and responsive 3D gaming running on MagicOS 7.1 based on Android 13 with full Google Mobile Services support. Efficient heat dissipation is sustained via an expansive 4483mm² arterial biomimetic vapor chamber cooling system.
Visuals are showcased on a stunning 6.7-inch 1.5K Quad-Curved AMOLED display (1200 x 2664 pixels) with a 19.98:9 aspect ratio, 435 ppi pixel density, and an expansive 90.8% screen-to-body ratio. The panel offers a fluid 120Hz refresh rate, 1.07 billion colors, HDR10+ certification, and reaches a peak brightness of up to 1600 nits. Pioneering an industry milestone, the screen features world-first 3840Hz ultra-high frequency risk-free PWM dimming certified by TÜV Rheinland, which eliminates screen flicker and eye strain in dim environments, alongside Circadian Night Display and Dynamic Dimming algorithms to safeguard circadian rhythms. Biometrics are managed by an on-screen optical fingerprint scanner.
For photography and videography, the smartphone is equipped with a revolutionary triple rear camera system arranged within jewelry-inspired dual rings, headlined by an ultra-large 200 MP primary camera (f/1.9 aperture, 1/1.4" sensor size, 16-in-1 pixel binning with 2.24μm equivalent pixels, PDAF). It is paired with a 12 MP ultra-wide and macro 2-in-1 camera (f/2.2, 112˚ FOV) with autofocus down to 2.5cm, and a 2 MP depth sensor. The camera supports 4K UHD video recording at 30fps with gyro-EIS stabilization, AI Vlog Master, and Solo Cut tracking. On the front, an extraordinary 50 MP ultra-wide selfie camera (f/2.4, 100˚ FOV) captures studio-grade portraits and records sharp 4K selfie videos.
Despite housing a generous 5000 mAh lithium-polymer battery, the Honor 90 maintains a remarkable 7.8mm ultra-slim profile and weighs only 183 grams. It supports 66W wired Honor SuperCharge, powering the device to approximately 80% in about 35 minutes, along with 5W reverse wired charging via OTG. Additional connectivity and security features include full-function NFC, dual-band Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, USB Type-C audio, and Dual 5G SIM standby connectivity.
