The Honor X6a is tailored for budget-conscious users prioritizing prolonged battery endurance, generous storage, and a high-resolution camera in an attractive form factor. Powering the smartphone is the 12nm MediaTek Helio G36 octa-core processor, incorporating four ARM Cortex-A53 performance cores clocked at 2.2 GHz and four energy-saving Cortex-A53 cores at 1.7 GHz, paired with the IMG PowerVR GE8320 graphics processor. Accompanied by 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM (with Honor RAM Turbo technology enabling virtual RAM expansion) and 128GB of internal flash storage (expandable up to 256GB via microSD), it handles daily calling, messaging, social media navigation, and media streaming smoothly running on Magic UI 7.1 based on Android 13 with full Google Mobile Services support.
Visuals are showcased on a 6.56-inch HD+ TFT LCD display (720 x 1612 pixels) with a 20:9 aspect ratio, 269 ppi pixel density, and an 84.72% screen-to-body ratio. The panel offers a fluid 90Hz refresh rate for smooth transitions and scrolling. Protected by Corning Gorilla Glass, the display incorporates Honor's Dynamic Dimming and Circadian Night Display technologies to alleviate eye fatigue and preserve natural sleep patterns during evening screen time.
In the camera department, the smartphone is equipped with a versatile AI triple rear camera configuration headlined by a 50 MP primary sensor (f/1.8 aperture, PDAF) that captures sharp and vibrant daytime photos. It is complemented by a 2 MP depth camera (f/2.4) for natural background blur and a 2 MP macro lens (f/2.4) for close-ups. The setup supports High Dynamic Range (HDR), portrait mode, and 1080p Full HD video recording at 30fps. On the front, a 5 MP selfie camera (f/2.2) integrated into the waterdrop notch handles self-portraits and video calls.
A standout strength of the Honor X6a is its massive 5200 mAh lithium-polymer battery, engineered to easily deliver up to two full days of standard mixed usage on a single charge. It is backed by 22.5W wired Honor SuperCharge, capable of charging 31% in just 20 minutes via USB Type-C. Practical daily essentials include a rapid side-mounted capacitive fingerprint scanner integrated into the power button, face unlock, full-function NFC, a 3.5mm audio headphone jack, dual-band Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, and Dual 4G VoLTE connectivity.
