The Honor X7a is engineered for users demanding extraordinary battery longevity, dependable everyday usability, and versatile photography at an accessible price point. Powering the smartphone is the 12nm MediaTek MT6765H Helio G37 octa-core processor, incorporating four ARM Cortex-A53 performance cores clocked at 2.3 GHz and four power-saving Cortex-A53 cores at 1.7 GHz, paired with the IMG PowerVR GE8320 graphics processor. With 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM (supported by Honor RAM Turbo virtual memory) and 128GB of internal storage (expandable up to 1TB via microSD), it handles daily messaging, social browsing, streaming, and calling reliably running on Magic UI 6.1 based on Android 12 with complete Google Mobile Services support.
Visuals are showcased on a large 6.74-inch HD+ FullView display (720 x 1600 pixels) with a 20:9 aspect ratio, 260 ppi pixel density, and an 84.3% screen-to-body ratio. The panel offers a fluid 90Hz refresh rate for smooth transitions and scrolling. Certified by TÜV Rheinland for low blue light emissions, the screen incorporates Dynamic Dimming, eBook reading mode, and dark mode algorithms to protect eyes and reduce fatigue during long hours of evening reading and multimedia viewing.
For photography and videography, the smartphone is equipped with a comprehensive AI quad rear camera setup headlined by a 50 MP primary sensor (f/1.8 aperture, PDAF) that produces crisp daylight captures. It is supported by a 5 MP ultra-wide angle camera (f/2.2) for sweeping scenery, a 2 MP macro lens (f/2.4) for close-ups, and a 2 MP depth sensor (f/2.4) for realistic portrait bokeh. The camera captures 1080p Full HD video at 30fps. On the front, an 8 MP selfie camera (f/2.0) positioned within the waterdrop notch handles self-portraits and video calls.
The hallmark strength of the Honor X7a is its class-leading high-capacity battery (5330 mAh / 6000 mAh), which earned top-tier DXOMARK battery gold certification for delivering up to 3.5 days of typical usage or up to 22 hours of continuous online video playback. It is backed by 22.5W wired Honor SuperCharge, alongside convenient 5W reverse wired charging to recharge accessories via OTG. Essential connectivity and security features include a fast side-mounted capacitive fingerprint scanner integrated into the power button, face unlock, a 3.5mm headphone jack, FM Radio, full-function NFC, dual-band Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, and Dual 4G VoLTE connectivity.
